I am not contracted with any insurance panels at this time and would be considered an out of network provider. If you plan to seek reimbursement, you will need to contact your insurance provider to discuss how your plan compensates you for out of network mental health coverage. I will happily provide a SuperBill. I accept all major credit cards and you may also be able to pay for services with your pre-tax Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards.

Welcome to Purple Pen Therapy!
I am so glad you have made this important first step towards finally prioritizing you! Maybe, there's a lot going on in your life. You feel and are being pulled in so many different directions. Perhaps you are experiencing feelings of sadness, feeling overwhelmed with stress, struggling with past trauma, feeling challenged by relationships, having a hard time processing grief, unsure of your purpose in life, grappling with racial trauma, or simply feeling like something is holding you back from reaching your full potential? I’d love to talk with you to find out more about how I can help.
How can I help?
I believe that the work of therapy is to help you (re)discover your areas of greatest joy and strengths and to chart a path towards attaining a life of meaning, value, and purpose. To do that, however, requires us to lean into the pain and the sorrows. At other times it can mean rewriting and recreating new narratives that better serve your new goals and purpose. Rather than becoming distracted by a diagnosis, the aim is to figure out what is no longer working for you, and not become trapped in patterns that continue to result in pain and suffering. My goal then is to help you become unstuck, choose your joys, move freely, fully, and confidently into a life that matters because you know you deserve it and will accept nothing less.
I specialize in working with survivors of trauma and have a passion for supporting others in healing professions including first responders, medical staff, essential workers, and other mental health professionals. I also immensely enjoy connecting with individuals who are interested in engaging in therapy for interpersonal growth, self-exploration, relational healing, grief processing, spirituality concerns, and self-care.
"Seeing yourself differently is often the first step to living the life you truly want to live."
